Now that the Oscars are over, who won what, who wore what, time to move along to who is doing what and have a few tidbits to share. As anyone in the "Biz" knows, standing still is never an option. You need to be on the move all the time, or in other words, above the radar. The Hollywood scene does not play a waiting game. You need to be prepared at any given moment to forge forward with your project.
Robert Rothbard is always prepared and, at any given moment to pitch a new project to the masses; be it cast, crew, investors or perhaps some social media entity. The convergence of the Entertainment Industry and Social Media is moving at a rapid pace, and those ready for the challenge will surely survive. So how does a Rothbard project fit into the mix? Here is a small sampling:
Sherman's In Sanity, the hilarious web series is attracting quite a following, and why not, everyone likes to laugh, even the most serious out there, yada yada, yada; you don't know about Sherman? Oh my here is a clip:
The series has had interest from many people in the Industry. There are some heavy hitters interested, but cannot reveal just yet. Watch for announcements here on RobertRules.us.
Moving along; remember no time to sit still, there is a super natural thriller planned and can reveal a few tidbits. Robert will be in collaboration with his son, Daniel. The apple never falls far from the tree. All I am able to comment at this time the story line centers around a young celebutante who gets stuck in a house of horrors!
One more interesting Robert Rothbard project. The year is 1957; Philadelphia, the home of rock and roll in those days, where every corner had a dowap group. Harmonizing was mainstream, and everyone wanted a share of the proverbial pie. Actors attached to the project; Billy McNamara, Christopher Lambert, Vinny Pastore, Allen Wasserman, and Tony Devon. Oh and let's throw in a dose of the reality genre. Part of the premise of the project will be a search to discover a new young 13-17yr old singing sensation from anywhere in the U.S. Audition cities to be announced!
Before I forget, Tony Longo said to Robert recently, "Robert nobody can do what you can." Do you think you can keep up with the frenzied pace. I sure hope so, because it is going to be the ride of a lifetime.
